You can't take still images with this device, but you can extract stills from your videos using a software that comes with it. The video quality recorded on this camcorder is of pretty good quality for a camera of its class.
Overall:All in all, the Flip UltraHD Camcorder is a pretty cool little device that may prove to be a good buy. It may not be the cheapest of ultra portable camcorders but the excellent video quality and the great features that comes with it gives great value for your money.
